“Meet the Best of Geico Winner” Commercial

Most of the great ones are here…the most iconic Geico spokesmen, that is, in a recent commercial set in their makeup trailer!  We briefly see the Gecko, the squirrels, the sloth, the Caveman (“Let’s do the eyebrows first”), and the contest winner, Kathleen.  But where is the Camel, it’s asked?

“Mr. Big Shot’s got his own trailer,” bitterly answers the Caveman, and we cut to that location, where we see the Camel in the lap of luxury, receiving the ministrations of two makeup artists while he sips on a lemonade and Alonzo Vasquez’s Rollout tune pumps.  Even Joe Camel of cigarette fame never had it this good! – – Ahh, being Number One has its privileges!

I’m not surprised that the camel proved more popular than Kathleen. She’s a real pig!

P.S.—I don’t know if you saw that recent episode of “In Search of Monsters” that dealt with the Ozark Howler.* But, basically, it’s supposed to be a grizzly bear-sized black panther with ram-like horns and apparently bioluminescent (or is that “necroluminescent?”) red eyes.

Some cryptozoologists think it’s pure folklore. Others think it’s one of a relict population of prehistoric American lions (Panthera atrox). A few even think its 100% supernatural! But, as for me; based on the description, I’d guess a subspecies of hrosma tiger that was accidentally transported here, via a long-lost Infinity Gate, from a galaxy far, far away.

*Personally, I never heard of it till that very night!

Now wasn’t the pig “Maxwell,” or does he have a girlfriend?

Oh, that’s right. So who the heck is/was Kathleen?

Never mind. I finally found the commercial on Youtube. So, let me get this straight: Kathleen won a cameo appearance in it for choosing the winner in the “Best Geico Spokesperson” contest?

My apologies to her for confusing her with Maxwell (whose voice-over I still believe to have been of feminine origin).
