“Alien Cover-Up” on MysteryQuest
– – MysteryQuest’s “Alien Cover-Up” episode promised much, and delivered little. We’ve traveled this ground before, and seen it better covered; Area 51, Groom Lake, and the hyper-reactive camouflaged security dudes.– –Now UFO Hunters, reportedly canceled…that was a show!
Watching some of these shows, one almost gets the impression that the producers are desperately trying to cobble together enough material to fill the hour…I mean, they even threw in some filler about the figures on the Plains of Nazca! It’s interesting, but as usual, nothing new is revealed by the end of the hour, and you wind up feeling cheated…been there, done that, heard it before.
What I’d like to do is have a bunch of us appear in fursuits by the security perimeter of Area 51, and when the high resolution cameras are trained on our presence, launch into a choreographed performance of Rick James’ Super Freak!

Nazca? I always thought it was the Plains of NASCAR!
You know; like in that book, “Racing Cars of the Gods?”

Are the Plains of NASCAR home to alien rednecks?
I always thought NASCAR would be more interesting if the cars were either chasing something or being chased by something rather than driving in circles…

Seriously, though: I’ve begun thinking that UFO HUNTERS cancellation might be part of a government conspiracy. I mean, think about it! What’s the one episode they have yet to re-run on History Channel?
The Season 2 finale, “Area 51 Revealed.”
You think it’s a coincidence I finally had to watch the full episode online? I think not!

And just because someone’s paranoid doesn’t mean that they aren’t out to get them!
