Tiger Provoked?

tiger.jpg  –Well, it appears that Tatiana, the San Francisco Zoo Siberian tiger (pictured) who escaped her enclosure Xmas day and attack three visitors, killing one, may have been provoked!  A slingshot has been found on one of the brothers mauled, as well as a bottle of liquor in their car.  Additionally a rock was found in the late tiger’s enclosure which did not belong there.  If she had been pelted with rocks prior to vaulting her enclosure wall, the trigger for Tatiana’s attack is obvious.

Of course, the brothers involved have already gotten a smart lawyer who is faulting zoo security for not getting there sooner…and the zoo has reopened with enhanced security and signs encouraging visitors to respect the animals…

It’s just sad how because of a human’s actions, this had to happen: an animal gets killed and a human gets killed..

Those so called “kids” were irresponsible ignorant and should be jailed after they got out of the hospital for admitting to driving under the influence of alcohol and pots. They posed a danger to the society and could cause fatal accidents on the freewway when they drove to the zoo and when they would have driven from the zoo. The two brothers contributed to the death of their friend and should be held responsible for their actions. Their lawyers initially claimed no taunting took place, and now changed to the tune of strict liability after the brothers admitted to taunting and being drunk. Only if the tiger could speak, it could spare us all of the lying brothers. The tiger did what it knew best by protecting itself and may have done us all a favor by keeping the brothers off the freeway.
