      They post prompts for bloggers on WordPress every day. Most are stupid to respond to, like “What is your favorite color?” This one, however (first I’ve ever responded to), drew me in…

          Yes, foxes do have families! You just won’t see us doing the pack, herd, flock, or collective thing. We regard that as gauche, especially when you are trying to observe undetected, slink, skulk, or generally be crafty or sly. We are specialty players, you see, and do our best work alone…and we LIKE it like that! šŸ¦Š

            True! And, in retrospective fairness, that video was posted by a fox-rehab couple who rescue fur farm “livestock.” Especially silver foxes! So, those were not technically wild vulpines. Simply adopted rescue animals being given their pre-beddy-bye snacks.
